Types of Cheese:Soft

There are a lot of different types of cheeses out there. Here is a listing of some different types of soft cheese and their uses.

Brie: This is a french cheese that has a mild to pungent taste depending on the brand. This type of cheese is used in Appetizers and Desserts.

Camembert: This is a French cheese that has a pungent taste. It is usually used in Appetizers or Desserts also.

Cottage: Cottage Cheese can be found in the dairy aisle near the sour cream. It comes in a variety of sizes and can be used for Salads, Snacks, or cooking.

Cream: Cream cheese is very mild and is used in Salads, Snacks, Cooking and Baking.

Ricotta: Riccota cheese is mild in taste and similar to Cottage Cheese but creamier in texture. It can be used for cooking and desserts.
