When you go camping it is always a trick to try to keep food fresh and dry, as well as safe from midnight visitors. You can use this handy tip to help preserve your food and to also assist you in other ways!

The next time that you go shopping, locate some large (5-10 gallon) empty buckets with snap on lids. (you can usually locate these at home improvement stores in the paint aisles)

Use these buckets for keeping animals out of your food and it will also keep your food dry if it happens to rain.

You can also use them as stools around the campfire, or you can place a board over a couple for a makeshift work table.

You will have less to pack and your campsite will keep clean and varmint free!
