GRAHAM CRACKER COOKIES

Usually when you make a cake, you end up with a bit of icing left over.

It is usually not enough to save, but too much to throw away.

Spread the icing between 2 graham crackers and they make great cookies.

To store, simply place in an airtight container and leave in a cool dry place.

FUN SANDWICHES

You have seen them in the stores before, the white dumpling presses.

These are great for making cool sandwiches that your kids will love!

Just remove the crust from a piece of bread and place it in the center of the press making sure that the bread covers the whole thing.

Decide what you would like to fill it with and place in the center.

Press the 2 sides toghether and voile!

A fancy sandwich that your kids will love!

PUDDING POPS

If you get tired of having the same old desserts night after night, try dressing up an old favorite. Pudding is very versatile. Just keeping a couple of extra boxes of instant pudding on hand can help you create fun and unique desserts for your family.

Grab a box of 3oz paper cups before they make it to the bathroom dispenser.

Spoon prepared pudding into the cups and cover each cup with a square of aluminum foil.

Insert Popsicle sticks through the center of the foil and place on a cookie sheet.

When all the pops are made up, transfer the tray to the freezer. (Make sure that you made room before you started!)

Freeze until firm, usually 2-3 hours. Remove pops from the freezer and tear off the cup to enjoy!

KID'S CEREAL FOR SNACK

The next time that you are in the grocery store, take a few minutes to compare cold cereal boxes and bags for nutritional values.

You will find that most "cheap" cereals that are in bags are often more nutritious than brand name boxed cereal. (make sure that you compare the value's before milk is added)

Once you get home, place a majority of the cereal into a large airtight storage container.

Take several ziplock sandwich bags and place a handful of cereal into each bag.

This will give you a quick on the go snack to take to games or activities with your kids.

Olive Rescue

It never fails to happen. You are trying to get the olives out of the jar and the opening is so small that they keep slipping from your grasp.

I have found that you can easily retrieve even the slipperiest of olives if you grab a melon baller.

It is small enough to fit into the mouth of the jar and scoop up every last olive with out making your fingers a mess.

The next time that you are making lunch for the kids, or yourself, grab some pita bread for this unique treat.

Heat up some hot dogs or sausages according to package directions.

Now place on your pita bread with your condiments.
