MEATLOAF ON A STICK
When getting ready to go camping, it is always hard to come up with different meals to prepare. You get tired of the same ol boring stuff. Here is a new twist on an old recipe that the kids will love!
Before you leave home, make up a batch of meatloaf and place in a Ziploc style bag.
Place in the freezer and freeze the raw mixture.
Now when you are camping and ready to eat, just take about a half a cup of the mixture, roll it into a "rope" and wrap it around a stick that has been cleaned for roasting.
Now cover the meat with aluminum foil and roast over the hot coals of a campfire until done.
Serve on it's own or in a hot dog bun for a little fun!
