Food Processing FrenzyI have been cooking for over 35 years now and I made a discovery this weekend that was such an eye opener! I bought a food processor. Big deal you say, but I say YES it is. I have heard about them over the years and I went pshaw to it. I can do that with a knife and a grater, what do I need a food processor for? Well, I am here to tell you that if you can only afford one appliance for your kitchen it should be one of these! I made an entire dinner including Bread Dough, Pasta Dough and Cookies for Dessert in mine. I picked up a 11 cup Cuisinart that has a hefty 650 watt motor. It slices, dices and kneads faster than anything else that I own. It also came with the shredding and slicing attachment. Cookies and dough came out fabulous. Tonight I used it for chicken and onion for the teryaki dinner tonight. I didn't even have time to see it work it chopped so fast! Be looking for some recipes soon that I am trying out with it!
