Banana Bread Basics

When you are making banana bread make sure that you use very ripe banana's. I try to use banana's that are almost completely black, but still somewhat firm.

If you need to make bread and your banana's are not quite ready, try placing your banana's into a paper bag and sealing it for a few days.

When you are baking your bread, start checking your bread about 15 minutes before the baking process has completed. Check with a toothpick, if the pick comes out clean the bread is done, if batter sticks to the pick it needs to bake more.

If the top is browning faster than the center is cooking, place a piece of aluminum foil over the top of the bread to protect it.
